Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician for our local retail store. You will support and oversee repairs of Refrigeration HVAC equipment using a range of tools and digital systems, ensuring timely response to maintenance needs.

The role requires 2 years of HVAC experience, EPA certification, a valid driver's license, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Expect field work with safety compliance and occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA certification for Refrigerant handling.
• Hold a valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR report.
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills and various tools.
• Utilize the work order management system to receive repair work orders and document repair activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training to operate equipment safely.
