Job summary

Walmart in the United States is hiring a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to support and oversee repair of Refrigeration HVAC systems across our stores. You will apply commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills using hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete jobs.

This role requires 2 years of HVAC maintenance, rack experience, EPA certification, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Large-scale rack refrigeration experience required.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal Refrigerant handling certification.
• Valid driver's license with clean MVR.
• 18+ with High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using hand, digital, and power tools.
• Use work order system to receive repair requests and document activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect and diagnose issues in facilities, equipment, or fixtures.
• Complete required training to operate equipment safely.
• Follow OSHA and EPA regulations per Walmart safety policy.
• Lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights frequently.
