Job summary

Walmart Inc. is seeking a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to maintain and repair refrigeration HVAC equipment at our local stores. The role requires hands-on use of hand/tools and adherence to safety and environmental guidelines.

Minimum qualifications include 2+ years in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance, EPA certification, a valid driver's license, and a HS diploma or equivalent. Lifting up to 75 pounds and working at heights are required.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Large-Scale Rack Refrigeration experience.
• EPA Refrigerant handling certification (Type I/II or Universal).
• Valid driver’s license with clean MVR.
• 18+ with a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using tools to complete jobs.
• Use the work order system to receive and document repair activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities and equipment to diagnose issues.
• Complete required safety training to operate equipment and tools safely.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations and Walmart safety policy.
• Lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights frequently.
