CoolSys - Refrigeration and HVAC Systems in Savannah, GA is seeking a qualified HVAC and Refrigeration Technician to install, troubleshoot, and service commercial systems. Your expertise will include reading electrical schematics and diagnosing complex refrigeration equipment.

Ideal candidates hold an active EPA certification, a valid driver's license, and enjoy a role with on-call rotation, diverse projects, and ongoing training in state-of-the-art facilities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial experience as an HVAC and Refrigeration Technician.
• Active EPA Certification.
• Valid driver's license.
• Military Base Background Clearance required.
• Excellent customer relations and interpersonal skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb and balance on ladders, and work in elevated locations.

Responsibilities

• Strong supermarket rack refrigeration experience.
• CO2/R744 system experience, including transcritical systems.
• EPA Universal Certification - Required.
• Advanced electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with Danfoss, Emerson/CPC, VFDs, and refrigeration controls.
• Diagnose compressor, refrigerant, oil system, electrical, and control failures.
• Perform leak detection, recovery, evacuation, charging, and system startups.
• Read electrical schematics and refrigeration diagrams.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Work independently and participate in an on-call rotation.
