Job summary

CoolSys is seeking a skilled HVAC/R Technician to perform repairs and maintenance across a range of commercial equipment. You will service air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, boilers, and related components while prioritizing safety and reliability.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years of experience, active EPA certification, and a valid driver’s license, with strong customer relations skills and a mechanical mindset to troubleshoot issues efficiently.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of commercial HVAC and Refrigeration experience.
• Active EPA Certification.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong customer relations and interpersonal skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work at height.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance on HVAC and Refrigeration equipment.
• Work with air conditioning systems, boilers, ice machines, and walk-in coolers.
• Diagnose issues and troubleshoot to restore function.
• Ensure safety and proper operation of systems.

Responsibilities

The HVAC/R Technician role is primarily responsible for performing repairs and maintenance to a variety of HVAC and Refrigeration equipment including air conditioning, electric motors, heating units, heat pumps, hermetic compressors, commercial furnaces, boilers, burners, intake and exhaust fans, economizers and humidifiers, RTUs, remote condensing units, ice machines, walk-in coolers & freezers, and upright refrigerators & freezers.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of commercial experience as an HVAC and Refrigeration Technician
• Active EPA Certification
• Valid driver's license
• Excellent customer relations and interpersonal skills
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to safely lift to 50 lbs., climb and balance on a ladder, and work in elevated/high locations.
