Kelly Services is seeking reliable Rack Builder and Assembler Associates for a 4–6 week project in Kansas City, MO. The role involves loading/unloading freight, building server racks, inventory management, and cabling according to schematics.

The position runs Monday–Friday, 3pm–12am, with a pay rate of $24 per hour. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in inventory or data center warehousing, can read diagrams, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1–3 years of related experience in inventory or data center warehousing.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Proficiency with computers; ability to interpret diagrams and schematics.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Understanding of electrical safety, static discharge hazards, and related protocols for working with live equipment.
• Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with customers and stakeholders on-site.
• Critical thinking and analytical skills to make confident, data-driven decisions that meet production goals.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload inbound/outbound freight; perform quality checks on parts to ensure documentation and condition.
• Conduct daily inventory cycle counts and manage replenishment orders for spare parts.
• Place server racks on the floor with 100% accuracy using laser measuring devices.
• Populate racks with electronic components and install cabling according to diagrams and schematics.
• Install rack hardware using hand, power, and measuring tools.
• Operate material handling equipment including straddle stackers, rack movers, and electric pallet jacks.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace per 5S standards.
• Perform frequent physical tasks such as pushing, pulling, and lifting.
