In this role, no two days are alike. You'll work in our climate-controlled manufacturing center and all tools are provided. You'll work on components for our motorsports program, marine engine program and other custom performance engine projects. There are also opportunities to participate in manufacturing tool creation and other ad hoc projects. You will thrive in this role if you like to stay busy, appreciate having a diverse set of projects to tackle, and have a knack for time management and self-motivation. You'll be responsible for various types of weld preparation, welding, and weld finishing operations to manufacture product to customer drawings, specifications, etc. and you'll operate fabricating machines such as cutoff saws, shears, rolls, brakes and presses.
- Interpret mechanical drawings, including weld requirement symbology, to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly.
- Manufacture, weld, and fabricate parts, tools, fixtures, and equipment to precise specifications, often adhering to Aerospace standards.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to understand project needs, propose solutions, and implement designs through fabrication
- Propose and design welded and fabricated solutions that address business needs, ensuring functionality and quality.
- Maintain and troubleshoot welding and fabrication equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Perform finish grinding, deburring, and final preparation of parts using both manual and power tools.
- Set up and operate CNC lathe and 3-axis machines to produce precision parts and components.
- Manufacture small parts and one-off components using manual machines as needed.

Required Qualifications:- Proven experience in fabrication and welding, with proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and weld symbols.
- Experience working to Aerospace standards or similar high-precision environments is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of manual and CNC machining, including setup and operation of CNC lathe and 3-axis machines.
- Ability to work independently, propose creative solutions, and implement them effectively.
- Skilled in using manual and power tools for finishing work, including grinding and deburring.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
