Ford Motor Company is seeking an experienced Chassis Engineer to lead the design, release, and delivery of high-performance components for Ford Racing production vehicles. You will manage QCWFT, work with Purchasing, and coordinate with Full Service Suppliers to meet milestones and ensure quality.

The role requires 5+ years in chassis design/release, GPDS deliverables, and data acquisition/analysis tools, with strong communication and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical / electrical / material engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in Chassis Design and Release.
• 5+ years in GPDS deliverables.
• 5+ years in Data acquisition & analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, release, and delivery of chassis components for Ford Racing production vehicles.
• Manage QCWFT to support program milestones.
• Collaborate with Purchasing to source commodities.
• Lead program delivery through milestones.
• Coordinate with FSS to ensure on-time delivery and quality.
• Ensure conformance to Ford Racing DNA and regulatory requirements.
• Develop innovative performance solutions including CAE and testing.
• Support issue resolution and design changes during prototype and launch builds.
• Interface with Core Ford engineering to maintain alignment.
