Ford Motor Company is seeking a Chassis Systems Engineer focused on the analysis and integration of chassis components to deliver vehicle-level performance targets for Ford Racing production vehicles.

The role requires integrating chassis components into a vehicle-level system, partnering with D&R, Vehicle Engineering, and cross-functional teams to establish kinematic and compliance targets, maintain documentation, and ensure data alignment with program requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering required.
• Experience in chassis systems, vehicle dynamics, architecture, or suspension engineering across lifecycle stages.
• Experience with ADAMS vehicle dynamics CAE modeling software required.
• Strong knowledge of chassis systems interfaces with other vehicle systems.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Integrate chassis components into a vehicle-level system to meet performance targets.
• Collaborate with D&R, Vehicle Engineering, Vehicle Dynamics and cross-functional teams.
• Maintain vehicle system health chart documentation and support development milestones.
• Translate test data and engineering requirements into actionable recommendations for chassis development.
