The Mint Gaming Hall in Franklin, KY is seeking a Full-Time Racetrack Maintenance Associate to oversee maintenance of the racetrack, exterior buildings, and grounds under the direction of the Turf Course Manager, Building Engineers, and Facilities Director.

The role requires repairing, maintaining, and replacing parts, coordinating tasks, keeping areas safe and orderly, performing preventive maintenance, and collaborating with guests, vendors, and team members to deliver exceptional service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs repairs, maintenance, and replacement of parts for exterior facility and grounds.
• Stocks, tracks, and maintains supplies and equipment.
• Plans and prioritizes assigned work to accomplish tasks and projects.
• Maintains clean and orderly work areas and follows safety regulations.
• Performs prescribed preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Reports safety or maintenance concerns to supervisor promptly.
• Assists in planning and execution of projects with Facilities Director.
• Interacts professionally with team members, vendors, and guests to ensure satisfaction.
• Provide excellent service to guests, greeting and assisting in a friendly, professional manner.

JOB SUMMARY

The Full-Time Racetrack Maintenance Associate is responsible for all aspects of the commercial building and outside property maintenance, as directed by the Turf Course Manager, Building Engineers, and Facilities Director.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs all repairs, maintenance, and replacement of parts as directed to support the maintenance of the exterior facility to include the racetrack, exterior buildings, and grounds.

• Stocks, tracks, and maintains supplies and equipment.
• Plans and prioritizes assigned work as necessary to accomplish each task and/or project.
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
• Performs prescribed preventative maintenance on equipment as directed.
• Reports any maintenance or safety concerns to supervisor in a timely manner.
• Assists the Director of Facilities and their designee in project planning, development, and execution as required.
• Interacts with all Team Members, property management and outside vendors/contractors in a professional manner to ensure productive working relationships.
• To provide BIG Service to guests and ensure their complete satisfaction, inclusive of greeting and interacting with guests in a friendly and enthusiastic manner, anticipating and meeting guest needs and preferences, remaining calm and professional when dealing with guests that are difficult or upset.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred.
• Internal candidates must have been in their current position for at least six months and have no active disciplinary action during the last six months.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts, this includes day, swing, late-night, weekend, and holiday shifts as scheduled.
• Must be able to obtain required work cards, and non-gaming registration as required by the local jurisdiction.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must pass any and all required drug and background checks.

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and respond to visual and aural cues.
• Must possess the manual dexterity to operate a variety of cleaning equipment and tools requiring the ability to grab, grip, hold, pour, tear, cut, sort and reach.
• Requires the ability to distinguish letters or symbols and eye hand coordination.
