Job summary

A leading entertainment company in West Virginia is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Worker to ensure the upkeep of outdoor areas. Responsibilities include mowing, trimming, and cleanliness of the grounds. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of maintenance experience, a valid driver’s license, and must qualify for a West Virginia State Racing Commission License. Additional certifications, like OSHA for machinery, are also required. The position offers a dynamic work environment and growth potential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have 1-year maintenance experience.
• Employee must be able to qualify for a West Virginia State Racing Commission License.
• Must possess a valid drivers’ license for the state in which you reside.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintenance of lawn and/or grass using mowers, edgers, and trimmers.
• Assists in overall maintenance of grounds using equipment.
• Must report problems with machinery or attachments to Motor Pool.
• Delivers sand and clay to racetrack and barn areas.
