Job summary

Deer Valley Resort in Park City, Utah, seeks a Level I Race Crew member for the Winter 2026-27 season to safely prepare, operate, maintain, and dismantle the NASTAR race venues.

Responsibilities include setting up dual GS courses, race starts/finishes, shoveling snow, handling POS, recording finish times, awarding medals, and ensuring a safe guest experience. Skiing ability and willingness to work outdoors in all weather required.

Qualifications

• Intermediate skiing ability without ski poles and carrying awkward loads.
• Alpine ski racing knowledge or experience preferred.
• Ability to shovel snow and work outdoors in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, maintain, and dismantle a dual GS course for NASTAR/group races.
• Set up race start and finish areas and maintain a safe venue for guests.
• Record, display, and announce racer finish times; award medals as appropriate.
• Operate POS and EDC for credit card purchases; perform other duties as assigned.

**PURPOSE OF POSITION:** A Level I Race Crew membersafely prepares,operates, maintains, and dismantles the NASTARRace Hilland group ski racing venues at Deer Valley Resort.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Setup,operate,maintain, anddismantle a safe dual GS course for NASTAR/Group races
• Set up,operate, maintain, and dismantle race start and finish areas
• Maintain a safe and inviting venue for our guests
• Shoveling and racking snow
• OperatePOSand EDC for credit card purchases
• Record, display,and announce racer finish times
• Determineand awardappropriate NASTARmedals to racers
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Intermediate skiing ability(without using ski polesandwhile carrying awkward loads)required
• Alpine ski racing and/orfreestyle skiing knowledge/experience preferred
• Ability to shovel snow
• Ability to roll fencing, working on hands and knees
• Abilityto work outdoors in all weather conditions

PAY RATE

• Pay:$20.00 per hour
