Job summary

Vail Resorts in Ludlow, Vermont, is hiring for our Race Crew in the Competition Services department. Join a team that helps bring race courses to life, with daily setup, maintenance, and event support in a winter season.

Starting wage is $20.00–$23.00 per hour, part-time for Winter Seasonal 2026/2027, with housing available. Members receive perks like free employee passes, ski lessons, lodging and gear discounts, and opportunities for training and development.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to ski with equipment.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Fluent in English.
• Ski to minimum Level 7.
• Outdoor work in alpine conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily set up and maintenance of race facilities.
• Event venue construction, maintenance, and event support.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Able to work extended hours outdoors in an alpine environment.
• Basic hand tool knowledge and skill preferred.

The expected pay range is $20.00/hr - $23.00/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
