Job summary

The Ohio State University Health Sciences | Government Resource Center invites applications for a Reporting and Analytics Analyst. The role focuses on building advanced interactive dashboards with R-Shiny, cleaning and analyzing large health datasets, and presenting insights to the team.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of relevant experience, a Bachelor's degree in a related field, and familiarity with health services or population health research.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree in a relevant field of study.
• Background check is required prior to employment.
• Demonstrated experience with the R statistical computing environment for data manipulation and analysis.
• Experience developing and maintaining interactive visualizations using R-Shiny.
• Experience with handling large datasets and data cleaning.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain advanced interactive data visualizations (dashboards) using R-Shiny within a team development context.
• Clean, manipulate, and analyze large datasets for population health projects.
• Work with Medicaid claims or population health survey data for analysis and reporting.
• Prepare reports, whitepapers, and presentation materials.
• Present results to team members and other audiences; review subcontractor outputs.
