Job summary

Capital Vacations, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a fast-paced resort maintenance team in Florida. The role focuses on property upkeep, preventive maintenance and ensuring safety compliance.

You will plan daily work, supervise staff and coordinate repairs across carpentry, plumbing and electrical tasks. Ideal candidates have resort or hotel maintenance experience, OSHA knowledge, and the ability to manage supplies and scheduling.

Qualifications

• Experience in property maintenance and supervision is required or strongly preferred.
• Must be able to perform basic trades such as carpentry, plumbing and electrical work.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and OSHA guidelines is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the upkeep of the property and adheres to standard operating procedures.
• Determines materials, equipment and supplies needed to complete tasks and orders them promptly.
• Performs maintenance tasks including construction, painting, electrical and plumbing as needed.
• Coordinates or inspects and maintains heating, cooling and ventilation systems.
• Establishes employee work schedules and plans daily assignments.
• Provides training, technical assistance and supervision to other staff.
• Ensures compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety rules.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.

The Maintenance Supervisor prioritizes and performs maintenance services inclusive of the full range of custodial duties related to the exterior care, maintenance, and aesthetic upkeep of the resort.

• Establishes an employee work schedule and plans daily work assignments
• Provides training, technical assistance, and supervision for other employees
• Assists in the counsel and discipline employees
• Is responsible for complying with all safety regulations(OSHA)and company safety rules
• Performs all other duties as assigned

Here’s What You Have Already Achieved

• Hotel experience is a MUST
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Have a valid driver's license and proof of insurance
• Have and maintain a good driving record clear of significant violations
• Minimum of two years of experience as a maintenance supervisor or experience/education equivalence
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or Aquatic Facility Operator (APO) certification
• Hazardous material handling training within six (6) months of hire date
• One (1) year experience in the care, maintenance, and repair of large, commercial or public swimming pools and associated equipment and facilities
• Advanced resort related maintenance systems knowledge.
• Ability to perform maintenance duties, such as plumbing, electrical, construction, and painting
• Proficient knowledge of OSHA guidelines and regulations
• Ability to multi-task and handle all maintenance issues
