Job summary

Capital Vacations, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee exterior care and maintenance of our resort properties. You will prioritize tasks, manage staff, and ensure high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years supervising maintenance, a High School diploma, a CPO/APO certification, and knowledge of pool equipment. You will coordinate repairs and enforce OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience in resort or hospitality environment.
• Ability to plan and supervise maintenance tasks.
• Knowledge of pool equipment and chemical handling.
• Pass a valid driver’s license.
• Hazardous material handling training within 6 months of hire date.
• Two years of supervisory maintenance experience.
• CPO/APO certification preferred.
• Ability to multi-task and ensure safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Maintains upkeep of the resort property.
• Follows standard operating procedures and SOPs.
• Determines materials, equipment, and supplies necessary to complete tasks.
• Orders supplies promptly to complete projects.
• Oversees construction, painting, electrical and plumbing tasks.
• Performs carpentry, plumbing, and HVAC repairs as needed.
• Coordinates or inspects heating, cooling and ventilation systems.
• Establishes employee work schedules and daily plans.
• Provides training and supervision for maintenance staff.
• Ensures compliance with OSHA and safety rules.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

The Maintenance Supervisor prioritizes and performs maintenance services inclusive of the full range of custodial duties related to the exterior care, maintenance, and aesthetic upkeep of the resort.

• Coordinates or inspects, operates and maintains the heating, cooling and ventilation systems
• Establishes an employee work schedule and plans daily work assignments
• Performs and coordinates tasks, such as scheduling of maintenance functions to be performed by maintenance personnel
• Provides training, technical assistance, and supervision for other employees
• Assists in the counsel and discipline employees
• Is responsible for complying with all safety regulations(OSHA)and company safety rules
• Performs all other duties as assigned

Here's what you have already achieved:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Have a valid driver's license and proof of insurance
• Have and maintain a good driving record clear of significant violations
• Minimum of two years of experience as a maintenance supervisor or experience/education equivalence
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or Aquatic Facility Operator (APO) certification
• Hazardous material handling training within six (6) months of hire date
• One (1) year experience in the care, maintenance, and repair of large, commercial or public swimming pools and associated equipment and facilities
• Advanced resort related maintenance systems knowledge.
• Ability to perform maintenance duties, such as plumbing, electrical, construction, and painting
• Proficient knowledge of OSHA guidelines and regulations
• Ability to multi-task and handle all maintenance issues
