Job summary

Diamond Foundry is seeking an on-site R&D Test Engineer for their AI Chips team in San Francisco. The ideal candidate will execute thermal testing, coordinate reliability testing, and develop custom test hardware for single-crystal diamond applications.

Candidates should have a BS or MS degree in Mechanical Engineering and 2+ years of relevant experience. Strong problem-solving skills are essential, along with a collaborative mindset for fast-paced development programs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in mechanical/thermal engineering or product development.
• Experience with laboratory instrumentation and data acquisition systems.
• Familiarity with thermal characterization for packaged devices.

Responsibilities

• Support customer prototyping projects through design and development of mechanical fixtures.
• Coordinate accelerated lifetime reliability testing and environmental stress testing.
• Design, build, operate, and troubleshoot thermal characterization test platforms.
