Diamond Foundry is seeking an on-site R&D Test Engineer to join our AI Chips team in San Francisco, California. This role involves executing thermal testing, coordinating reliability testing, and developing custom test hardware for customer prototyping of single-crystal diamond applications.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach. The position comes with a competitive salary range of $125,000 - $155,000 annually, along with additional benefits including health insurance and opportunity for company shares.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in mechanical/thermal engineering, test engineering, or product development.
• Experience with laboratory instrumentation and data acquisition systems.
• Proficiency with CAD software, familiar with FEA and CFD tools.

Responsibilities

• Support customer prototyping projects through design and development.
• Coordinate accelerated lifetime reliability testing and environmental stress testing.
• Design, build, operate, and troubleshoot thermal characterization test platforms.
