Job summary

Stäubli Corporation in Duncan, SC is seeking a Test Engineer R&D to plan, develop, and execute product validation and verification activities ensuring performance, quality, safety, and reliability. This role collaborates closely with R&D, Product Management, Manufacturing, and Quality to support product development and continuous improvements.

The position reports to the FCS R&D Manager and involves flexible (hybrid) work after a 90-day training period, including occasional travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, or related engineering field.
• Experience in product testing, validation, or engineering laboratory environments.
• Familiarity with DV/PV methodologies and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, test procedures, and validation protocols.
• Design, build, and maintain test setups, fixtures, and equipment.
• Conduct functional, performance, reliability, environmental, and safety testing.
• Analyze test data and prepare technical reports with conclusions and recommendations.
• Identify product issues, document findings, and support root cause analysis.
