Job summary

Keysight Technologies in Colorado Springs is seeking a dedicated R&D Technician for a 17‑month contract to support prototype turn‑on, calibration, and testing of high‑performance oscilloscopes. You will work with automated tests, scripts, and data analysis to troubleshoot and characterize prototype performance under varied environmental conditions.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in electronics manufacturing or related technical fields, strong communication, and the ability to collaborate

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years in electronics manufacturing, NPI, or related technical environment.
• General knowledge of electronics and electronics manufacturing.
• Experience with electronic and mechanical assembly, including torque drivers.
• Proficient in Windows OS and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate and run automated tests on prototypes.
• Troubleshoot electronic prototypes and identify potential failure modes.
• Run scripts and automated processes to determine failure modes and communicate findings.
• Execute automated performance characterization tests across temperature and humidity.
• Document technical issues and test results accurately.
