Job summary

A leading electronics testing company based in Colorado Springs, Avispa Technology is seeking an R&D Technician 4 to support prototype testing and characterization in an ESD-controlled environment. You will work with R&D Engineers and NPI Technicians to ensure tests run smoothly and data is accurately collected.

The role requires 3-5 years in electronics manufacturing or NPI, with strong knowledge of test equipment like oscilloscopes and solid MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in electronics manufacturing or NPI environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Higher-level education or certifications in electronics are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with R&D Engineers and NPI Technicians to support prototype testing within an ESD-controlled environment.
• Calibrate and run automated tests on prototypes, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
• Run scripts to determine failure modes and communicate findings back to the R&D team.
• Execute automated performance characterization tests on prototypes at temperature and humidity, and collect and document data to support engineering analysis
