Job summary

Keysight Technologies is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical design from concept through production for high-performance oscilloscopes. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure manufacturability, cost targets, and reliability through all development stages.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of relevant experience, strong CAD skills (Siemens NX preferred), and a proven ability to deliver across fast-paced projects with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering with 3–5 years of experience.
• Experience developing electro-mechanical products from concept to production.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Define product requirements and translate them into mechanical design requirements for new platforms.
• Lead mechanical design from concept to prototype and production release.
• Design, prototype, and evaluate parts and assemblies throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Perform validation: thermal, vibration, shock, and reliability testing.
• Create and maintain mechanical drawings, GD&T, tolerances and documentation.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams and suppliers to ensure manufacturability and cost objectives.
• Support production release and sustaining phases.
