Job summary

Castelion is seeking an R&D Technician to support hands-on solid rocket motor manufacturing and testing at our development site in Texas. You will collaborate with engineers and operations leadership to execute propellant processing, motor assembly, test setup, and data collection in a fast-paced environment focused on safety and quality.

The role requires hands-on mechanical aptitude, experience with process equipment, and a commitment to energetic materials safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• 3+ years in manufacturing, assembly, testing, or operations in high-hazard environments.
• Experience with energetic materials or hazardous chemicals desirable.

Responsibilities

• Execute propellant manufacturing and SRM assembly per work instructions.
• Support test setup and development tests under engineers' direction.
• Operate and maintain manufacturing and test equipment.
• Collect and document process and test data; assist with post-test activities.
• Follow energetic materials safety and 5S standards; promote safety culture.
• Prepare materials and support inventory tracking.
