Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in aerospace engineering, manufacturing engineering, materials engineering, mechanical engineering or physics.
• 2+ years of mechanical or fluids design, analysis, or build experience.

Responsibilities

• Translate project objectives into cost-effective designs that can be produced at scale.
• Spearhead the creation of solid rocket motor designs with autonomy.
• Assist in assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of prototypes and production builds.
• Use rapid iteration cycles to validate performance and implement design changes.
• Produce and approve CAD models and drawings adhering to ASME Y14.5-2009.
• Assess and resolve hardware discrepancies including supporting analyses.
• Collaborate with supply chain to mitigate availability risks and delays.
