Job summary

Amrize is seeking a dedicated R&D Technician to join our Portland, OR team. You will perform testing in the R&D laboratory, support quality and process improvement efforts, and help with plant trials while maintaining a safe, organized workspace.

You will collaborate with engineering and quality professionals, handle routine lab tasks, and ensure adherence to procedures and safety protocols in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED, plus 1-3 years of prior manufacturing or lab technician experience, is required.
• Previous experience as a quality technician, process technician, operations technician, or working in a manufacturing environment is desired.
• An associate or bachelor's degree in a scientific or technical field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs testing for the R&D laboratory with limited supervision, including raw material and finished material testing.
• Assist quality technicians with training and root cause analysis, assist with plant trials, maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Assist with lab maintenance and organization and with writing/implementing documentation for procedures.
