GAF Commercial is seeking a Senior Research Technician for Siplast R&D to assist a Research Scientist in testing and developing new products. You will help with prototypes, lab tests, data interpretation, and field data analysis, contributing to product certifications and ongoing development.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED and 0+ years of related experience, with strong communication and teamwork abilities, plus familiarity with lab safety and documentation practices.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to collaborate in a team and participate in safety programs.
• Experience with data analysis and basic statistics is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist a Research Scientist in testing new products.
• Design and build prototypes for testing product attributes.
• Conduct laboratory tests and report results.
• Analyze data and present unbiased conclusions.
• Assist in test roof installations and field data analysis.
• Maintain laboratory safety and good housekeeping.
• Support in customer requirement analysis and trials.
