Position Summary

The R&D Technician supports our product development team on studying and testing new innovative sensing solutions for temperature and/or flow sensors by collecting data and assisting engineers with laboratory and workshop activities. This role plays a vital part in translating design concepts into tangible results and supports innovation from early-stage development through to realization.

This role plays a vital part in translating design concepts into tangible results and supports innovation from early-stage development through to realization.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct testing of prototypes and experimental setups following defined procedures and safety standards.
• Record, analyze, and report data using appropriate tools and documentation methods.
• Collaborate closely with engineers and researchers to refine concepts and optimize designs.
• Participate in design reviews and brainstorming sessions to contribute practical insights.
• Show analytical judgment in the progressive execution of test results and continuous improvement
• Candidate Requirements:
• Diploma or Associate Degree in Engineering Technology, Applied Science, or multiple years of experience working in related technical field.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on experience with tools, measurement equipment, and instrumentation.
• Experience with common MS office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Multi-tasking skills, with the ability to self-prioritize
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic, and high visibility environment with minimal supervision and work well as part of a team
