Boom Supersonic's Centennial site is seeking a highly skilled technician to assemble, install, and align powerplant structures with precision. You will read engineering drawings, torque components, and document work in MRP/ERP while supporting functional tests and continuous improvement.
Qualified candidates hold an FAA A&P license with experience in aircraft assembly or MRO, can lift up to 50 lbs, and adapt to takt-time targets.
Boom Supersonic’s mission is to make the world dramatically more accessible through a renaissance in supersonic flight. Boom is developing the Symphony supersonic engine, which powers the Overture supersonic airliner and the Superpower natural gas turbine for AI. Overture will fly at twice the speed of today’s subsonic jets over water and 50% faster over land with Boomless Cruise.
At our Centennial site, you’ll be part of the team that brings Boom’s propulsion hardware to life. This is precision, hands‑on integration work—building up engines, installing systems, and preparing powerplants for test and flight. Your craftsmanship directly impacts safety, quality, and our ability to deliver propulsion systems on schedule.
Working in our dynamic production environment, you’ll contribute to safety, quality, and continuous improvement, ensuring we deliver high‑quality aircraft systems on time and with zero safety violations.
The Base Hourly Range for this position is $36/hr - $46/hr per year. Actual rate will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Boom’s total rewards package for employees. Other rewards may include long‑term incentives/equity, a flexible PTO policy, and many other progressive benefits.
