Citrin Cooperman & Company, LLP in Woburn, MA is seeking a Research & Development (R&D) Tax Director to join the Federal Credits & Incentives practice within the National Tax Advisory Team. You will lead R&D Tax studies, interact with CFOs, and oversee multiple engagements to ensure timely, accurate deliverables.

The role requires 10+ years of R&D tax experience, CPA/EA designation, and a track record with a top public accounting firm. Hybrid work with travel opportunities is offered.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience conducting and managing R&D Tax Credit Studies and Sec. 174 Cost Analyses.
• Experience with a Big Four or Top 20 public accounting firm.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field required.
• Active CPA or EA designation required.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with corporate and flow through entity tax compliance.
• Experience managing multiple client engagements and leading client service teams.

Responsabilités

• Work directly with CFOs, owners, and leaders from small and middle market companies.
• Manage and perform R&D Tax Credit Studies and Sec. 174 Cost Analyses.
• Oversee the quality and timely delivery of engagement deliverables.
• Drive engagement efficiency and scalability through process improvements.
• Perform tax technical research and support proposal development.
• Mentor and develop engagement teams and lead client services.
