Job summary

Cherry Bekaert’s Tax Credits and Incentives Advisory (TCIA) team is growing. As a Tax Credits and Incentives Advisory Staff you will support federal credits and incentives engagements, including R&D tax credits, employee retention credits, and related services.

You will develop technical skills, interview personnel, manage data sources, and assist in preparing final client deliverables while coordinating with tax and technical teams. Travel to client sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in accounting or 150-hour CPA track.
• GPA 3.0/4.0 or higher preferred.
• Interest in R&D tax incentives and related credits.
• Interest in depreciation, fixed assets, and cost segregation.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Serve clients on federal credits and incentives engagements.
• Develop technical skills to solve complex credit issues.
• Interview technical personnel and review memoranda.
• Manage sources of client data for credits analysis.
• Support engagement teams with status and next steps.
• Lead client deliverables assembly.
• Evaluate complex credit incentive scenarios.
