Job summary

Fluidstack in Seattle is seeking a procurement leader to own long-lead compressor program parts, qualify dual sources, and work closely with engineering to adapt designs for supply constraints. You will manage prototypes and production ramp to avoid single-sourcing and accelerate time-to-market.

Qualifications

• Experience buying long-lead engineered hardware where lead time drives program decisions.
• Ability to qualify a second source for parts with constrained supply.
• Experience sitting with engineers early to influence design for supply considerations.

Responsibilities

• Own long-lead procurement for compressor program and critical parts.
• Qualify and dual-source vendors on the critical path.
• Balance prototype and production needs to avoid single-source lock-in.
• Collaborate with engineering on BOM changes due to supply constraints.
• Keep procurement off the critical path to accelerate schedule.
