Job summary

Tyson Foods in Springdale, AR offers a 12-week R&D internship to work with our food scientists on developing new products and processes for beef, pork, and chicken. Interns will be exposed to the manufacturing processes across Tyson’s brands and participate in projects that can impact cost, quality, profitability, and competitiveness.

The internship concludes with a brief report and presentation of the project results.

Qualifications

• Must include a resume to be considered.
• Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s (incoming junior or senior) or Master’s degree program in good standing expected.
• Strong computer skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Assist in product development for beef, pork and chicken alongside food scientists.
• Contribute to projects aimed at cost-saving, quality improvement, profitability and competitiveness.
• Prepare a final report and presentation summarizing project results at internship end.
