Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is recruiting for a 2027 Strategic Business Operations Summer Intern position. The role supports multiple optimization projects across R&D, learning project management skills, and exposure to pharmaceutical development processes within a hybrid on-site model in Pennsylvania or New Jersey.

The program emphasizes cross-functional teamwork, stakeholder engagement, budgeting and resource planning, and opportunities to explore data science and AI applications

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. and must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Actively enrolled at an accredited university for the duration of the internship/co-op.
• By start date, be considered an undergraduate sophomore or above.
• Minimum GPA of 2.8 or higher.
• Availability to work full-time (40 hours/week) during the internship/co-op.
• Ability to provide transportation to/from the work location.
• Demonstrate strong analytical and quantitative skills.

Responsibilities

• Support coordinating and overseeing various R&D projects within the SBO group.
• Assist in budgeting, resource planning and timeline management for projects.
• Support stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist in communication and change management activities with internal teams.
