Job summary

Genentech is seeking a senior R&D leader to serve as the R&D Business Insight and Digital Solution Lead. You will guide cross‑functional teams through complex product roadmaps at the intersection of life sciences and IT, mentoring colleagues and shaping strategies with enterprise impact.

You will influence domain-level roadmaps, manage stakeholders at the executive level, and drive end-to-end digital execution across programs, balancing strategic direction with hands-on delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 8+ years of direct related experience, including 3+ years in life sciences/pharma or the assigned business function.

Responsibilities

• Scope/Content Leadership: lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact products and translate business needs into product strategy and priorities.
• Drive End-to-End Digital Execution: manage complex software and data delivery programs from concept to operations.
• Industry & Trend Foresee: apply pharma informatics and AI trends for strategic fit and scalability.
• Accountability/Problem Solving: drive business outcomes and manage risks with clear roles and decisions.
• Stakeholder Management: align senior stakeholders, communicate trade-offs and risks effectively.
• Impact/Strategy: influence domain roadmaps and workforce strategies based on trends.
• Complexity/Leadership: steer highly complex projects with enterprise-wide implications.
