Job summary

Teva Pharmaceuticals in West Chester, PA seeks a Director – R&D Strategic Sourcing & Value Management to lead enterprise sourcing across R&D. The role focuses on strategy, supplier governance, and delivering measurable value through cost optimization and risk management.

The position reports to the Senior Director, Global Procurement – Research & Development and emphasizes hands-on leadership, KPI development, and digital procurement capabilities to enable R&D innovation and business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred in Business, Supply Chain, Life Sciences, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum five years of direct people leadership experience.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or related disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies for R&D, life sciences, and regulated environments.
• Lead complex sourcing initiatives including RFx, negotiations, contracting, and value realization.
• Coach and develop the Strategic Sourcing & Value Management team.
• Partner with stakeholders to align procurement with R&D priorities and risk management.
