Job summary

Keysight is seeking a Software R&D Engineer to contribute to sampling oscilloscope application development while enhancing CI/CD pipelines. This hybrid role blends hands-on software development with DevOps responsibilities to deliver high-quality software to customers and manufacturing.

The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in object-oriented programming, experience with Windows, and a passion for improving build and release processes in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS or engineering or related technical discipline.
• 4+ years of relevant experience; internships count.
• Proficiency in at least one OO language (C# preferred).
• Experience with Git or similar source control.
• Knowledge of CI/CD concepts and release management.
• Scripting in PowerShell or Python for automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain measurement, analysis, and instrument-control features.
• Create customer-facing software to simplify workflows and improve UX.
• Collaborate with hardware, QA, and support to diagnose and fix issues.
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
• Automate build/versioning, installer creation, code signing, and artifact mgmt.
• Support release processes including beta and RC builds and delivery to manufacturing.
