Job summary

Keysight Technologies in Santa Rosa, CA is seeking a Software R&D Engineer to contribute to sampling oscilloscope application development while strengthening CI/CD processes. You will write production code for related applications and help modernize pipelines for faster, reliable releases.

This is ideal for an early-career engineer who enjoys software and improving how quality software is built and delivered.

Qualifications

4+ years of relevant experience; internships/co-ops count toward experience.
Proficiency in at least one OO language, preferably C#, and ability to write/debug non-trivial code.
Solid software engineering fundamentals: OO design, data structures, debugging.
Working knowledge of Git or other source control systems.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD concepts and release management.
Scripting experience for automation (PowerShell, Python).
Experience developing software on Windows.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain measurement, analysis, and instrument-control features under senior guidance.
Create customer-facing software features to simplify measurement workflows and improve UX.
Investigate, reproduce, and resolve issues with hardware, QA, and support teams.
Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps; automate builds and releases.
Develop scripts/tools and dashboards that show build health and quality metrics.
