Job summary

Keysight is seeking an experienced R&D engineering leader to drive enterprise test solutions, test software, and manufacturing automation. The role centers on delivering projects, developing employees, and aligning with leadership priorities across engineering and operations.

The ideal candidate has deep technical depth to guide tradeoffs, manage resources, and ensure execution across teams, with a focus on scalable, secure software practices and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, CS, or related field.
• 8+ years engineering experience.
• 3+ years engineering management or significant project leadership experience.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering projects and teams.
• Experience with automated test, test software, NPI, manufacturing engineering, or electronic test and measurement.
• Strong people-management skills including coaching, performance management, and hiring.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, resources, and dependencies simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Lead an R&D engineering team responsible for enterprise test solutions and related engineering support.
• Translate organization priorities into executable team plans and manage schedules, resources, risks.
• Ensure projects meet technical, quality, schedule, and manufacturing-readiness requirements.
• Drive improvements in test time, effectiveness, maintainability, scalability, and reuse.
• Support secure software development practices and cybersecurity requirements.
