Responsibilities

As part of Keysight’s central research and development organization, Keysight Laboratories, you will join a high-performance R&D team that develops instrument software infrastructure used by global Keysight development teams. Your role involves researching, creating, validating, and implementing instrument infrastructure IP involving industry-leading technology in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Engineering or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 7+ years of experience developing hardware control software, including systems based on modern I/O architectures such as PCIe, with a solid understanding of driver and real-time processing architectures.
• Ability to quickly develop, debug, and troubleshoot issues across the software stack using advanced tools.
• Experience with modern software architecture principles, strong object-oriented programming skills in Modern C++, with C# and Python as pluses.
• Experience developing cross-platform software in Windows, Linux, and Embedded Linux, including multi-threaded programming.
• Proficiency in software development, testing, DevOps, and CI/CD practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Problem-solving skills with a proactive, team-oriented approach and enthusiasm for tackling challenging problems.
• Familiarity with T&M applications and instrument architectures is advantageous.
