Responsibilities

Our team is a key part of Keysight's central research and development organization, Keysight Laboratories. In this role, you'll join a high-performance R&D team that develops instrument software infrastructure used by other Keysight development teams worldwide. You will research, create, validate, and implement instrument infrastructure IP involving industry-leading technology in a highly collaborative environment.

Qualifications

Must Have Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Engineering or closely related field (Electrical Engineering, Computer Science)
• Experience with modern software architecture principles and paradigms, with strong object-oriented programming and design expertise in Modern C++
• 4+ years of experience developing hardware control software, including systems based on modern I/O architectures such as PCIe, with a solid understanding of driver and real-time processing architectures

Desired Qualifications

• Ability to quickly develop, debug, and troubleshoot issues at multiple levels in the software stack, from register level to application layer, using state-of-the-art debuggers, profilers, and simulators
• Proficiency in additional programming languages such as C# and Python
• Experience in software development across Windows, Linux, and Embedded Linux environments, including multi-threaded programming
• Skilled in all aspects of software development and testing, including DevOps and CI/CD practices
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A proactive problem solver with a positive, team-oriented approach and eagerness to develop solutions to challenging problems
• Familiarity with Electronic Test and Measurement applications and instrument architectures is a plus

Colorado Pay Range: $86,160 - $192,000

Santa Rosa, CA Pay Range: $118,600 - $220,000

Note: Pay ranges vary by region for other locations.
