Job summary

System One currently seeks a Shipping and Receiving Technician in Boston, MA. This contract role focuses on inventory control, inbound/outbound shipping logistics, and hands-on warehouse support for product samples, ingredients, and lab supplies.

Responsibilities include maintaining sample inventory, supporting R&D facility operations, and communicating inventory status with internal stakeholders. Requires HS diploma, 2–4 years of related experience, and ability to lift 30 lb cases.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Physically able to carry 30 lb cases frequently throughout the day
• Shipping and receiving/warehouse experience required
• Some customer service experience required, involving internal and external communication
• 2-4 years of related experience

Responsibilities

• Maintain good sample inventory
• Support operations and logistics for the entire R&D facility
• Communicate with internal stakeholders about inventory management
