Job summary

ImmunityBio, Inc. seeks a Scientist I to advance pre-clinical and cGMP manufacturing for novel immunotherapies. You will clone gene therapies, optimize cell culture, and perform assays, documenting methods and results for cross-functional teams.

You will design experiments, develop scalable processes, draft reports, and contribute to tech transfer with strong attention to quality and data integrity. On-site; pharma environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life sciences with 10 years in upstream/downstream biopharmaceutical processes.
• Master’s degree with 8 years in biopharma process development and GMP manufacturing, including upstream.
• PhD with 1 year in biopharma process development and GMP operations; upstream experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support pre-clinical and cGMP manufacturing for novel therapeutics and vaccines.
• Perform cloning, cell culture optimization, and biosciences data analysis.
• Write and review technical protocols, reports, and SOPs; assist tech transfer.
• Lead experiments and present results across teams; troubleshoot process issues.
