Job summary

Campbell's in Camden, NJ is seeking an R&D Scientist I to drive product development across Thermal/Frozen Soup & Broth, Italian, and Everyday Pantry portfolios. You will lead projects from idea conception through plant commercialization, applying new processing technologies and consumer testing to meet nutrition and cost targets.

You will collaborate with Marketing, CCID, Supply Chain, Quality, Packaging, Engineering and Operations, reporting to the R&D Manager, M&B Product

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Food Science or related field required.
Minimum 2 years of food product development experience; internships or co-ops count toward experience.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage technical timelines for multiple product development projects with minimal supervision.
Lead concept-to-commercialization efforts based on product design criteria and consumer insights.
Define ingredient handling, blending requirements and set up production trials.
Lead shelf-life studies and benchmarking to inform product specifications.
