Job summary

Merz North America, Inc. is seeking an R&D Project Management Associate Director to lead cross-functional PMO activities for geographic expansion, lifecycle DDF management, and post-launch commitments in Raleigh, NC.

The role reports to the Head of PMO and aims to keep marketed products compliant, well-documented, and positioned for growth through registrations and indication expansions. Strong leadership across Regulatory, Clinical, Quality, GTOps, and Commercial teams is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Life Science, Engineering, Project Management, or related discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in product development of complex and/or highly regulated products, with the majority in medical device and/or pharmaceutical development.
• 5+ years in the role of Project Manager/Leader of multiple high-impact cross-functional projects through commercial launch.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic planning and execution of geographic expansion projects for commercialized products.
• Coordinate cross-functional feasibility assessments for market registrations, indication expansions, and renewals.
• Lead project-team governance, scheduling, and documentation of decisions and risks.
• Direct cross-functional resources to deliver regulatory submissions and launches.
• Facilitate alignment between regional, country, and global stakeholders.
• Provide governance oversight and leadership reporting for post-launch maintenance.
