Job summary

Elanco is seeking an experienced R&D Project Manager to guide Global R&D efforts from concept to completion. You will interface with Regulatory, Manufacturing, R&D, and Marketing to design robust plans, manage risk, and deliver portfolio results.

The role emphasizes strategic thinking, cross-functional leadership, and adherence to GCP/GLP/GMP standards while coordinating with global teams and third parties to advance innovative veterinary products.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in a scientific or related field with 8-10 years of relevant experience in project management or a related scientific role.
Deep understanding of veterinary drug development processes, regulatory submission requirements, and GCP/GLP/GMP quality principles.
Mastery of PM fundamentals per PMBOK and proficiency with project management software and AI platforms.

Responsibilities

Act as strategic partner to project leaders, managing complex development programs and coordinating schedules, costs, and risks.
Own and maintain project timelines, process maps, and critical-path indicators to keep initiatives on track.
Partner with Finance and geographies to manage development budgets and report variances.
Lead proactive risk and contingency planning, identifying risks and triggering mitigation as needed.
Drive process improvement and knowledge sharing to reduce cycle times and standardize PM practices.
