Job summary

Elanco Animal Health Incorporated is seeking an R&D Project Manager to guide complex, global development programs from concept to completion. You will partner with Regulatory, Manufacturing, R&D, and Marketing to ensure robust plans, manage risks, and deliver value across the portfolio.

The role emphasizes macro planning with micro-level execution, driving milestones, budgets, and contingency strategies in a hybrid Indianapolis setting. Travel up to 10% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a scientific or related field with 8–10 years of experience.
• Deep understanding of veterinary drug development and global regulatory submissions.
• Familiarity with PMBOK and project management fundamentals; strong MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as strategic partner to project leaders for complex development programs.
• Manage schedules, costs, risks; maintain scope documentation and milestones.
• Develop up-to-date timelines and process maps; monitor critical path and indicators.
• Collaborate with Finance and geographies to manage development budgets and forecasts.
• Identify risks; implement contingency plans and drive process improvements.
