Job summary

Aivres in Fremont, California is seeking a Sr. Research and Development Project Manager to lead complex R&D initiatives from concept to delivery. You will define objectives, develop plans, and drive cross-functional collaboration across engineering, product, and support teams.

The role requires a strong technical background in cloud computing and data center technologies, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage risks, budgets, and timelines to ensure project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree with learning experience in computer science, industry/business management and other related disciplines.
• More than 7 years related work experience
• Independent thinking, teamwork, communication and coordination ability
• Familiar with x86 project development process, cloud computing, storage, network product structure
• Strong ability to withstand pressure
• Experience in server ODM project development is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define project objectives and develop a detailed project plan in line with customer requirements.
• Ensure compliance with project deadlines and costs, and manage human and financial resources.
• Manage team members and supervise their work
• Collaborate with other R&D project managers and support departments to ensure smooth integration of projects
• Identify potential risks and draw up action plans to counter them
• Evaluate risks and benefits at each stage of the project and ensure consistency
• Participate in meetings and lead discussions with customers to define their requirements and expectations
• Ensure communication between project members and consistency of information
• Make presentations at events and seminars to promote the project and results
• Provide updates on progress and problems encountered, ensure the quality of results and propose solutions to problems that may arise.
