Ladders is seeking an R&D Project Finance Manager to partner with research and development teams in a remote role. You will own project budgeting, forecasting, accruals and performance management for early-stage programs, ensuring financial discipline across the pipeline.

The role requires strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with collaboration across operations, contracts, and leadership to inform decision‑making in a fast-moving development environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in accounting and finance roles.
• Experience in pharmaceutical or biotech industries preferred.
• Expertise in clinical trial financial management.
• Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Oracle knowledge is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities.

• Perform monthly accruals for R&D project contracts.
• Develop and manage project budgets and forecasts.

For our client, we are seeking a R&D Project Finance Manager to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space.

This role will partner closely with research and development stakeholders to support the financial planning, tracking, and decision‑making behind early‑stage programs. The position will own project‑level budgeting, forecasting, accruals, and performance management while helping ensure financial discipline across the pipeline. It is a highly visible finance role that connects operations, contracts, and leadership insights in a fast‑moving development environment.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $110,000 – $130,000 annually
