Job summary

Medline Industries, LP seeks a seasoned R&D leader to manage the R&D function, including employees, project planning, and development of stability or related research areas to support product development.

The role requires directing day-to-day operations, budgeting influence, policy interpretation, staff hiring and development, and ensuring timely completion of multiple projects while evaluating new technologies for future initiatives.

Qualifications

Requires 4+ years R&D experience in healthcare
Requires 2+ years of direct leadership responsibility
Ability to assess and initiate actions independently and manage situations or projects
Strong time-management: prioritize, organize, and track multiple projects with varying deadlines

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day operations of a team and ensure deadlines and project goals are met
Contribute to resource planning based on organizational needs
Collaborate with quality, regulatory, legal, manufacturers to identify projects and timelines
Identify risks and develop contingency plans to keep projects on track
Evaluate new technologies and products and integrate developments as needed
Lead the implementation of new products, programs, or protocols
