Job summary

PDI is seeking a Product Performance Technician to execute rigorous performance testing for our products under representative use conditions. You will document results and summarize findings to support product development, claims substantiation, and market initiatives.

Responsibilities include setting up test methods, collecting data, and communicating results to cross-functional teams. 0–2+ years in lab testing preferred; DOE knowledge a plus; strong communication required.

Qualifications

• 0–2+ years of relevant experience in laboratory testing or product testing in a regulated industry preferred.
• Working knowledge of laboratory testing procedures and data recording within a regulated product industry.
• Exposure to Design of Experiments (DOE) and statistical analysis software a plus.
• Ability to follow detailed test protocols and standard operating procedures accurately.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute product performance studies by evaluating products under intended or simulated use conditions.
• Set up, run, and apply established test methods aligned with project needs and relevant industry standards.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret qualitative and quantitative data to assess product performance and identify trends.
• Summarize and clearly communicate technical results and conclusions to support product development, claims substantiation, and business decisions.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, external laboratories, suppliers, and technical partners to execute testing and keep projects on track.
• Maintain and continuously improve laboratory testing capabilities, equipment, procedures, and documentation, ensuring compliance with safety and quality requirements.
